Voyagers have had an excellent first week back. After settling in and transitioning well through year 12 they have come into year 13 with high expectations for the year. They have welcomed the new students and staff to sixth form and made them feel at home. The students have had a busy week – the first part of it has been enterprise taster sessions in Sowers and Growers, Southsea Sanders, Pebbles Beach Café and Fresh as a Daisy. They have thoroughly enjoyed trying the different skills needed and then made choices about what they would like to do for the rest of the year. They have also been out and about in the community and enjoyed spending time together as a sixth form. Yesterday, they took part in the first Rock Challenge sessions and enjoyed seeing their Mary Rose friends over at the main school. Overall, it has been an excellent first week and the students and staff are looking forward to a busy year of getting out in the community and being involved in their new enterprises.
