Welcome to Invincible class, we are an amazing group of young people who love to have fun and learn new things. At school we enjoy engaging with our sensory curriculum where we use our senses to explore the world around us. In class you might find us exploring lights and sounds in our sensory corner, getting messy during tactile exploration; or using technology with our peers to play games and communicate. When we’re not in class we have the opportunity to access the sensory garden, forest school, sensory room, swimming pool and other specialist rooms – it’s always an exciting day for Invincible class!

How we read in Invincible Class:

This term so far in Invincible Class:

The summer term so far has been an exciting adventure where we have been learning about ‘New Horizons’. We have focused our learning on our sister school in Ghana; considering their enterprises and how they raise money to help their community. We have had fun exploring their enterprises which has led us to create our own Kente fabrics, Ghanaian inspired musical instruments and jewellery, as well as making traditional Ghanaian foods. We also enjoyed experiencing a traditional Ghanaian football match with our peers, scoring goals and cheering each other on. After the half term break we will be experiencing our Mary Rose enterprises, in order to learn about the world of work, the contribution we can make to our community and that of our sister school. We will be making bath bombs in ‘Fresh as a Daisy’, sowing seeds in ‘Sowers and Growers’, creating greeting cards in ‘Southsea Sanders’ and creating new recipes for ‘Pebbles Café’. Wow, what a busy summer term!
