As part of World Book Day, Upper Primary incorporated the book James and the Giant Peach into our topic ‘Down at the Bottom of the Garden’.
In the story James discovers an enormous enchanted peach at the bottom of his garden. After rolling into the sea inside the fruit, James, accompanied by a crew of friendly talking insects, sets sail for New York City.
A sports trip at the Mountbatten centre. We met double Olympian Toby Garbett and even got his autograph and a photo with him!
