
Upper Primary have had a great first week back.
This terms topic for Seahorse, Dolphins and Octopus class is titled ‘Down at the Bottom of the Garden’ and it was introduced to pupils this week with an art day. Each class was tasked with creating natural art work for our Garden Gallery. Dolphin Class have investigated the shapes of leaves, they have painted Christmas tree branches and then woven them through a loom and used leaf stencils to create leaf outlines. Octopus Class followed simple sequences to create beautiful natural shapes in clay they then communicated their preference towards a range of natural items such as pine cones, leaves and berries to create imprints.

Children In Need
Friday the 16th was Children in Need day and as usual Mary Rose fully got into the swing of things.
