Pupils from Sealion, Starfish, Victory and Mayflower Class travelled to the outback in Australia to recreate their own aboriginal story telling artwork. Pupils from all four classes had the opportunity to copy or create their own aboriginal marks in sand, in clay or in paint using a range of stencils and printing techniques. Some worked together with friends to create a collaborative aboriginal story.
The outcome was spectacular with a range of stunning images being produced in a range of mediums.
Class staff were amazed at the levels of engagement and independence that the pupils in their classes demonstrated during the workshop.
Well done everyone!
