KS2 Sport & Movement Festival

KS2 Sport & Movement Festival

Today we held our annual Key Stage 2 Sport and Movement Festival.

Seahorse and Octopus classes were very excited to welcome Warrior Class to join us for the event, Purbrook School and Portsmouth College and Bradley M as our Sports Leaders for the day.

We all met in the Hall and enjoyed a warm up dance before splitting into our teams for the event. We had Ball Skills in the Sports Hall with Lisa, Studio Rebound with Sue, Sensory Room and Target Games with the Sports Leaders.

We had a fantastic time working on our skills and taking part with friends from different classes and from Purbrook School!

At lunch time we sat together in the Hall to have our food together and socialise before getting back to the activities again for the afternoon.

At the end of each activity Sports Leaders awarded pupils a Spirit of the Games Value award sticker, for example, ‘Self-Belief’, ‘Determination’, ‘Respect’ and ‘Passion’ for pupils who demonstrated these particular attributes when taking part.

At 2 o’clock we all met back in the Sports Hall to say a big well done to everyone for taking part and present certificates and medals to all pupils.

Thank you and well done to everyone that took part and we look forward to seeing you next year!
