This week’s assembly was all about raising awareness of the RSPB Big Bird Watch 2016. Learning about the birds that live in and around our local environment what they sound like and how we can help them survive the winter months.
Pupils listened to the sounds of different bird songs trying to identify which ones they were. We then enjoyed making bird feeders out of 2 litre plastic bottles and a range of bird foods. These will be hung in the Mary Rose sensory Garden and we will then spend time ‘spotting’ the different species of birds who come along for a feast!
